After you develop the self-control to stay out of mental and emotional loops, your mind is free to function at peak performance. It will work for you as you go about your daily routines. You need not even be aware of the brilliant computations that your mind is performing without your interference. Computers are that way. They can operate several programs at the same time.
A woman could be ironing a blouse and suddenly freeze in astonishment. She would exclaim out loud, "Oh my God, I just figured out how to use coupons and get groceries for free!" Or, she might say, "Well, I’ll be! I know a great way to make the office more efficient!"
A man might be listening to radio and suddenly yell out, "I just figured out how to repair the lawnmower for only a few dollars."
A teenager might be watching TV and blurt out, "Oh, now I understand how to solve that geometry problem!"
A researcher might wake up in the middle of the night and scribble the answer to a perplexing question.
I got into meditation late in life. And yet, I get great results. If you get into meditation as a young person, your results will be far greater than mine in the course of your lifetime. The amazing thing about meditation is that a person could begin with low mental capacity and end up as a genius. A person who begins with severe emotional issues will end up as a rock of stability and good sense.
Practical & easy meditation step-by-step
As a prophecy researcher, I have sometimes received answers to complex mathematical problems while in a special mental zone between sleep and consciousness. I have sometimes awoken in the early morning and remained in a semiconscious state. My subconscious mind seemed to need some assistance from my conscious mind. To my astonishment, my mind would eventually present me with complex diagrams that included dates and measurements.
After diagrams were presented to me during semi-consciousness, I would jump out of bed and scribble them onto paper. From these scribbles, I created diagrams on my computer. Eventually, they went into my articles and books.
When your mind presents brilliant insights to you, the question could arise, "Did my mind do this or did God?" I believe that the answer is "both." If God wants you to have understanding, He will use your mind in order to get it to you. After all is said and done, God is a scientist and He uses advanced science to work "miracles." We think that God performs miracles because our science is not able to comprehend the advanced science that God uses.
There will be times your mind does not have the basic information that God needs to work with. So, He will miraculously intervene in your life in order to educate you. You will watch a particular TV documentary. You will read a particular book or talk to someone about a particular subject. From these sources, God will put relevant information into your brain.
I once had the most important book of my most important research project given to me by my son after he picked it up at the library as a reject. He said that he normally did not walk home from school by the route that took him by the library. But, that day, he just felt like it. While passing by the library he saw a book giveaway and browsed through it to find books I might enjoy. He selected the most important research book of my life. It was an ancient out-of-print book, which could be the only remaining one in existence. That amazing book helped me see what the original Mark of the Beast was. And that discovery began my research and writing career. That book changed my life forever. This situation shows that God must first put information into your mind in order to use it to communicate with you.
Think about it, God does not normally speak to individuals with a human voice. He uses whatever is in your brain as a means to put ideas in your conscious mind. So, He must first get the basic information into your mind. He must sometimes use miracles to do that.
Let your soul cleanse itself
A miraculous benefit of a meditative mind is that it is free to operate at peak performance. Your mind might act as a brilliant psychiatrist. You might be cured of all your emotional problems.
The way the meditation process works is that you keep pushing thoughts through your mind without allowing bad thoughts to clog the flow. This is like running fresh water through pipes. Eventually the muddy water will clear out. But, the best is yet to come.
Your mind will be free to bring up memories that you had been purposely burying under muck. These buried memories are usually the real nasty things that ought to be cleaned out. Our minds have a self-protection function. When something traumatic happens, the brain hides it away and covers it up. This is what your skin does when it is wounded. When you are stuck with a thorn, your body immediately begins to heal the puncture wound. Your body will even form a tough layer of skin around any part of the thorn that stays in the skin. Do you see the parallel to what your mind does?
You cannot leave the thorn in your skin and you cannot cover up your traumatic experiences and forget about them. A doctor needs to remove the thorn and clean the wound. And your mind needs to have the trauma removed so the emotional wound can be cleansed and healed.
Meditation allows clean water to flush out hidden traumas from the past. After you admit them, you can deal with them like a doctor deals with a wound. The healing ointment is understanding and acceptance. Let’s say that when you were very young a parent humiliated you to the point you felt inferior. You need to examine your parent and understand why he or she acted that way. You might be surprised to find that your parent’s boss at that time was humiliating him or her. And, those angry emotions and words came home to be taken out on the kids, including you.
With this understanding, you might actually feel pity for your parent for the abuse he or she took at work in order to bring a paycheck home. Any parent that takes abuse every day in order to provide for his or her family is a hero. But, humans crack under pressure. Even parents can say terrible things to their children. Your parent’s paycheck got you through school and provided a home and clothes for you. We have all been abused and we have all vented on the innocent. We live in Satan’s world, so what can we expect? So, we are challenged to understand and forgive like Jesus did when He was dying on the crucifix.
Miraculously, understanding and forgiveness removes the thorn from your soul. It cleanses the filth away and rids you of your compulsion to drive a red sports car that you cannot afford.
Your miraculous healing is attributable to meditation. Your emotions no longer override your conversations with God. You no longer want to break your conversation with God in order to persue self destructive behavior. Like God said, "First go heal your relationship with your brother. Then come and pray to me." The principle is the same.
What is the Benefit of an Intimate Personal Relationship with God?
No more guilt, anger and shame!
After you develop the mental discipline to be in a state of constant prayer and meditation, what is the pay-off? The pay-off will be that you will say and do things right the first time. Have you ever wished that you could relive your life’s experiences and do things right? You will have a chance to go out into the world and make all the right choices the first time. You will benefit from the right personal and financial decisions.
Do you remember the Scripture that states that it is better to be a man that controls his own emotions and thoughts than to be a foolish king that controls many cities? Imagine how successful you could be if you had always made the wisest decisions?
How Close to God do you want to be?
Initially, everyone will say to himself or herself, "I won’t have ANY secrets from God. We will talk about EVERYTHING!" Satan is pretty clever. He got Adam and Eve to hide from God so that their communication with God was cut off. We can learn from that experience. The very first thing that cut humans off from God was sex. Will sex cut you off from God?
Don’t let Satan cut you off from God because of your self-consciousness about sex or any other subject. Remember that Adam and Eve hid in the bushes so nobody could see their private parts. Before Satan talked to them, they were not self-conscious. After their talk with Satan, Adam and Eve were self conscious and ashamed. I am trying to fully understand the psychology that was going on at that time. Even though I do not yet understand everything, I know that Satan was focused on sex more than any other human function.
And, I realize that sexual shame can cut us off from communication with God. We tend to think that God knows nothing about sexual desire. On the contrary, Scripture states that "Jesus was tempted in every manner that we are." That means that Jesus had sexual desires like any normal person.
That only makes sense because God created sex. He made the powerful hormones that our glands pump into our bloodstreams. And, these hormones cause the average person to have overwhelming sexual desires. And these overwhelming desires cause normal people to do crazy things they are later ashamed of. If you want to be honest, tell God that His design was a mistake that has caused real problems for you. That would be honest. If you are God’s friend, you can be honest, right? Friends can take a little criticism, can’t they?
Jesus created our sexual drives and He dealt with them like everyone else has. Note that the name Jesus is Latin for I-Am. I-Am was the God of the Old Testament. He was the Lord God Creator according to John. The point is that I-Am/Jesus knows all about male and female sexual drives. There is nothing you could possibly come up with that He does not already know about.
You might be a female and self-conscious about talking to a male God. God created the female mind and body. If the female came out of God’s mind, then God has to be as much a female as He/She is a male. It might be that God decided to be addressed as a "he" only after Eve submitted to Satan. It is interesting to note that neither God the Father nor the Lord God had a gender until AFTER the fall of Eve (Genesis 3:24).
Here is a hypothetical experience about sex that illustrates your temptation to cut off communication with God at a critical time. A coworker that you think is thrilling gives you a hint about a sexual relationship. You allow yourself to dwell on this. There is a tragic consequence for dwelling on flattering propositions. Your glands pump an overdose of sex hormones into your bloodstream. You are drunk from those hormones and everything in your body and mind pushes you toward sex. What do you do at this critical time? Do you talk to God or do you cut off communication with God?
You would be wise to immediately find a place in order to isolate yourself. Run for a stall in the restroom if that is all you can think of. Then admit to God that you allowed yourself to get out of control and you need help. If you had been in constant communication with God, your hormones would never have been triggered in the first place. So, stay in constant communication so that glands and hormones do not sabotage you.
If you lose your battle, do not let it cut you off from communication with God. Just because you lost a battle, you have not lost a war. Tomorrow is another day and another opportunity to win. When it comes to overwhelming sexual desire, we need to have reasonable sympathy/empathy for each other.
There could be another subject that you cannot talk to God about. You might be into drugs. You might enjoy crooked business dealings. Whatever it could be, it is exactly what you need to spill out to God. Your intimate relationship with God is only as close as you allow it to be. Think of how thrilling it would be to have a Holy-Holy place that Jesus the High Priest would visit in order to be with you. Ask for Jesus the High Priest to come into your mind and spend time talking with you while you talk about anything and everything.
Here is an idea that I have personally found to be very exciting and informative. Occasionally, I ask God to talk about things in His life and things He is interested in. Wow! Be ready to expand your thinking to take in the full scope of human and angelic activity. But, that is after you have mastered the basics and covered all your personal issues with God. You need to take care of your pressing needs first.
Divine Help
Prayer and meditation will not absolutely guarantee that you always make the wisest decisions. You would need to be like God and know the future. For a human this is impossible. So, you need divine intervention. God, as your closest friend, can provide divine intervention.
When you are God’s intimate friend, He will look out for you just as any dear friend would. If you cry out that you need a job, God will get one for you. If you cry out that you need a friend, a quality friend will come into your life. If you cry out that enemies are attacking you, God will chase them away.
These are things that you cannot do for yourself. But, when you have a friend in high places, he can make life good for you by pulling strings behind the scenes.
In my lifetime, I have heard astonishing accounts of miracles. I have experienced astonishing miracles. I witnessed a man healed of incurable cancer right in front of an astonished surgeon. I saw a pile of money that miraculously came to a family that needed hundreds of dollars within minutes. I am sure that you have heard similar testimonies and that you have experienced your own share of miracles.
Learn to Speak in God’s language
Let God speak to you in His own language. God’s language is superior to human language because it can give us a million times more information- like through dreams.
When God Communicates through Dreams and Revelations
There are people with supernatural gifts. They could be prophets and prophetesses. The early Church had many such people. If it weren’t for persecutions, many people would confess that they have these gifts.
There were people of old whom God personally spoke to. Gabriel spoke to some. Others had dreams. Some people had no need of special gifts because God or Gabriel spoke directly to them and they simply wrote the words down for future generations.
There are gifted people that are able to see angels and foresee the future. Personally, I do not believe that I have any of these gifts. I am just a researcher. I do believe that God is able to use all the information I have accumulated in my mind over the years in order to present composite insights to me. I have written articles and books to pass these insights on to the Churches.
Testing a Person’s Spiritual Gifts
There is a dilemma with prophets, prophetesses and gifted people. We often cannot tell a gifted person from a delusional person. There are religious predators that claim to have gifts. There are gifted people that just aren’t gifted enough to provide solid information. So, they could present to us a dangerous mixture of truth and error.
I cannot give much information that could help you distinguish between people that are definitely God’s agents and those that are charlatans. I have known people that were delusional and on ego trips. I have known a few people that have been completely accurate and helpful over the years.
All I can say is that God states that there are definitely prophets that can tell the future. Even if they can, they are not to use their abilities to convert Christians to other religions and ideologies. This happened with the infamous Jim Jones group. That group began as a Christian Church. But, Jones turned his followers into a Marxist and Anti-Christ group. The man literally threw the Bible onto the Church floor and condemned it. This is on video for the whole world to see. Jones then murdered his followers with poisoned cool-aid.
God said that He would allow mischievous prophets to test us. So, we are to constantly test our Church leaders to see if they are following God to the best of their ability or if they are using religion in order to turn us into Marxists, atheists, evolutionists and whatever. This is where we can benefit from a close personal relationship with God through prayer and meditation.
To reiterate, there are two ways to stay close to God and far from Satan. Those two things are prayer and meditation. We can not totally depend on prophets and prophetesses to put us in close contact with God. We need to test them and know just how far we can trust their messages.
I hope the information I shared can help you develop an intimate relationship with God. A close personal relationship with God is the only way I know of to assure that we do everything right, have the peace of God in our souls and go to Heaven. And REAL meditation is the only way I know to be truly close to God.
